Esther Chapter 10

“King Xerxes imposed tribune throughout the empire, to its distant shores. And all his acts of power and might, together with a full account of the greatness of Mordecai to which the king had raised him, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Media and Persia? Mordecai ,the Jew, was second in rank to King Xerxes, preeminent among the Jews, and held in high esteem by his many fellow Jews, because he worked for the food of his people and spoke up for the welfare of all the Jews.”

With Faith in God,  much will be accomplished and many Blessings will be bestowed.

Thank You for Family Love

Lord,  Thank you for family. May we all strive to be the best of what you have ordained for our lives. May we remember “Better a little with fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil. Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than the fattened calf with hatred” (Proverbs 15:16-17). Keep us together, in all circumstances, in love and happiness. In the name of the Lord,  Amen.

Prayer for the Work Week

Since we fully realize that all things that are good come from God, we thank God for another work week. As we work at the job which God has assigned us, we will remember to  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Thank you God for my job and another work week. Amen

Esther 6:1-3

“That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him. It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, who conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. “

“”What honor and recognition had Mordecai received for this? ” the king asked. “Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered.”

We find the specific purpose of God being fulfilled when Mordecai saved Xerxes life. Although there were no immediate rewards,  the reward came“… at just the right time…” (Romans 5:6).

Could God be waiting for “just the right time” to give you a special blessing?
