He Lives, We Have Not Seen, Yet We Believe

John 20:17-18. Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ” Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news; “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

John 20:28-29. Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

He lives, we have not seen, yet we believe.

This lesson was being repeated today (4/20/14) in many churches, many ways, but coming to the same conclusion…This was Resurrection Sunday, the promise is being fulfilled as a result of Jesus death and resurrection.. The study guide book of John was so very helpful in both asking the right questions and aiding one in finding the right answers. Many thanks to Homewords Ministry for getting the word out with clarification.
