The study of The Acts of Sin versus Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:19-23 is found in the Life Change Series Galatians book on pages 109-112. The study guide suggests that a good way to clarify the precise meanings of the terms is through the use of a Bible dictionary. While we also recommend a Bible dictionary, we provided the class with a summary of these words from two sources; The NIV Student Bible, Zondervan, 1984 and The Interpreters’ Bible, vol. 10, pages 560-569, 1953. To assist our group, the list compares three (3) Scriptural versions of the terms as provided by the resources. The Scriptural versions are The New International Version (NIV), The King James Version (KJV) and the Revised Standard Version (RSV).
